Discovery Cove Food – A Guide

Discovery Cove Restaurant

So you’ve booked your Discovery Cove tickets and can’t wait to spend the day snorkelling, meeting dolphins and chilling out on the beach……

But one of the best pieces of advice is to make sure you go there hungry! Discovery Cove food is all-inclusive (and the drinks too!) and there’s loads of delicious all-you-can-eat munchies available throughout the day.

Here’s an idea of what you can expect to be eating and drinking on your visit:

Breakfast

From the minute the park opens at 8.30am there’s an unlimited selection of freshly-prepared breakfast staples, so you can eat light or fill up for the day ahead!

Breakfast options usually include:

  • Cooked food such as scrambled eggs, home fries, sausages and bacon,
  • Continental breakfast items like French toast sticks, a variety of breakfast pastries, cereals, bread rolls, yoghurts, mini muffins and fresh fruit
  • All washed down with endless tea, coffee and juice

Breakfast is served at the Laguna Grill until 10.30am

Lunch

Lunch is available from 11am to 3pm, and there are usually about 6 or 7 main options, from familiar fare to chef’s specials, healthy choices to tasty treats.

Choices can range from pulled pork, mac’n’cheese, chips, salads, pasta, daily seafood selections, corn on the cob, sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, vegetarian dishes and more.

Plus of course lots of cakes, fresh fruit and other treats for dessert!

Snacks

Fancy a snack while you’re sunning yourself on the beach? You’ll see small huts located around the park which serve drinks and snacks like pretzels, crisps, yoghurts and ice-cream all day.

Drinks

Free alcoholic drinks are available all day for over-21s (maybe time to think about taking a taxi instead of driving!)

As well as the usual beers and wines, you can indulge and cool off with yummy frozen cocktails like Margaritas and Pina Colada!

TIP: If you’re over 21 and want to drink, remember to take your ID! You’ll need to bring it to the customer service counter as you enter the park, where you’ll get your Day Pass marked in order to be served alcoholic drinks.

Non-alcoholic drinks are also available around the park and at the restaurant – from frozen slushies to fruit smoothies, gourmet coffees to bottled water and soft drinks.

  1. Hi, Fab overview. Quick question, how many times can you go up for breakfast? Sounds like a really greed question but it isn’t! My two little ones don’t eat a lot a breakfast but do get hungry again very quickly especially when active and rather than them filling up on snacks it would be good if they could have fresh fruit or other breakfast type things again!

    1. Hi Dawn,

I know exactly what you mean – the little ones don’t eat much in one go but they’re always looking for a snack between meals 🙂

Don’t worry – there’s no limit to how many times you get food.

The Discovery Cove Tickets are all-inclusive, so you can help yourself to as much food and drinks as you want throughout the day!

      Hope this helps!

      All the best,
      Dela
