If you’re a big Harry Potter fan, in Florida, and not at Universal Studios this weekend… what are you playing at? The Celebration Of Harry Potter is on right now! The massive expo gives you an insight into the Hogwarts Universe with Q&As with the film stars, a costume showcase, and panels with some of the special effects gurus.
But the highlight will be the Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle Experience, which will use projection mapping, special effects, music from the films and lighting to wrap the castle in a colorful display celebrating Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
It’s being debuted at the festival but will be hanging round afterwards, on the evenings of Jan 31-Feb 5 and Feb 7-12 so absolutely check it out in the next two weeks.
Some of the expo experiences are going to have mega lines so get along early if you are planning on going along, and The Sorting Hat Experience and Fantastic Beasts VR both normally fill up quick.
This weekend the whole of Universal Orlando Resort will be full of Muggles trying to blend in so if you are there keep an eye out for the eye-popping costumes! It’s all included in the price of normal Universal tickets so make this weekend a wonderful wizarding one!
