About this experience

Have you ever held a baby alligator? Well here’s your chance.

How about a backstage tour that gets you up close and personal with some of our largest alligators and crocodiles? You’ll get to do that too! Next is a hands-on meeting with some of our reptiles and creepy crawlers from our Up-close Encounters Show.

What’s included:

  • Meet and hold the baby alligators

  • Go backstage and visit some of the largest alligators and crocodiles on the park

  • Up-close Encounters Show – A hands on session with the reptiles and creepy crawlers

  • Join the Gatorland trainer in the Gator Wrestling Arena

  • 2 hour session (starting at 8am)

  • All day admission to Gatorland

Restrictions:

  • Must be 12 years old or above

  • Minimum of 1 and maximum of 5 people per tour

What to wear:

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sunglasses, trainers or hiking boots. Nothing extremely baggy please!

Gatorland is a wildlife park in Orlando with a focus on, you guessed it, 'gators! Set on 110 acres, the wildlife park offers a real taste of native Floridian wildlife, as well as a petting zoo, an exotic bird aviary and unique reptilian shows. There are plenty of fun add-ons you can include in your day too, such as a zip wire adventure and a Stompin' 'Gator Off-road Adventure.
Gatorland is around a 15 minute drive from Walt Disney World and boasts ample free parking. Alternatively, you could use a taxi service like Uber or Mears.
The best dress code is comfortable shoes and clothes to easily walk around the park in. If you're undertaking one of the add on experiences, make sure you check for any specific requirements on your ticket info.
The Gatorland park is accessible and they also have a Wheelchair-Accessible Gator Gauntlet Zip Line too!
There are four types of venomous snakes – the Eastern Coral Snake, the Florida Cottonmouth (also known as the Water Moccasin), the Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnake and the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. No food of any kind is allowed in the park, including animal feed. No coolers, picnic baskets or similar items designed to carry food or beverages.
