Swim With Dolphins
Include the Dolphin Swim experience in your Discovery Cove package and meet a playful bottlenose dolphin up close in the famous Dolphin Lagoon. Learn about dolphin behaviour and communication from expert animal care specialists before enjoying a personal one-on-one interaction - with professional photographers on hand to capture every moment.
Please note children must be aged 6 and at least 42 inches tall to participate. Children aged 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult also participating in the swim.

Want to go even deeper? SeaVenture is an extraordinary underwater walking tour through The Grand Reef. Wearing a dive helmet, descend into the reef and come eye-to-eye with sharks, rays, and schools of tropical fish in a 45-minute trainer-guided experience unlike anything else at Discovery Cove.

Children under 3 years of age enter for free. However, you must phone to let us know you’re bringing a little one once you’ve made your booking. Call us on 0330 100 3130 with your booking reference handy
Children over 3 require an adult ticket
Children & the Dolphin Swim
Children must be at least 6 years old to swim with dolphins
Children aged 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult (over the age of 18) who also is participating in the dolphin swim experience
Children participating in a dolphin swim must have a “Minor” waiver completed by their parent or legal guardian. If the parent is not present when checking in, you must be able to produce a copy of their driving license or photo ID
Disabled Access
Discovery Cove can accommodate guests with disabilities who are able to manoeuvre themselves with limited assistance (or with the aid of a personal assistant) during their dolphin experience and in the various wading areas.
Specially-designed outdoor wheelchairs are available to use on the beach. Please note that these wheelchairs are not self-manoeuvrable so guests will need assistance to use them.
Discovery Cove has been designated as a Certified Autism Center by The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES)

There are no restrictions for expectant mothers. However, if you are unsure about any aspect of the experience, we recommend that you consult a doctor prior to your visit.
Inclement Weather:
In the unlikely event the park is closed on the date you have booked due to the weather, please try to arrange an alternative date with Discovery Cove
If this is not possible and your ticket has not been used, we’ll offer you a full refund when you’re back in the UK

What To Wear:
You’ll be given a wetsuit and snorkel when you arrive. Bring your own swimsuit and a set of dry clothes for later.

No amendments can be made on Discovery Cove bookings. If a booking has been made incorrectly it will need to be cancelled, which may incur charges.

If you choose the Discovery Cove without Dolphin Swim Ticket you will NOT be allocated a dolphin swim.
Normal sun creams are dangerous to the wildlife that lives here, so you will be given a sample of “animal-friendly” sun lotion when you arrive, and can buy more of this at the park.
Discovery Cove has limited capacity to 1300 people each day, and it’s so popular that tickets can sell out months in advance! It’s absolutely essential to pre-book your tickets to ensure you can visit on your chosen date.

From the North (Downtown Orlando, Universal Studios, Sanford, Deland):
Take I-4 West to exit 72 (Beachline Expressway/FL-528/Airport)
Once on the Beachline, take the first exit (International Drive)Make a left onto International Drive
Make a right onto Central Florida Parkway at the third traffic light

From the East (Cocoa, Cape Canaveral, Titusville Area):
Take FL-528 (Beachline Expressway) west to the International Drive exit

However, your ticket is valid for any 14 consecutive days provided your booked date is within that period.
For example: If you book to visit Discovery Cove on the 6th, you could start using your ticket on the 1st (to visit any of the other parks included) and use it up to the 14th
