Take your astronaut experience to the next level with the Kennedy Space Center Astronaut Training Experience Plus - everything included in the ATX programme, plus full admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on the same day, giving you the ultimate Kennedy Space Center experience from morning through to park close.
What's Included:
4-5 Hour Immersive Astronaut Training: A full half-day of hands-on astronaut training activities led by Space Flight Experts and Educators from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Admission: Full admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex included - explore the park from your ATX session through to park close.
Microgravity Simulator: Train for weightlessness and conduct your own spacewalk in a frictionless environment, working as a crew to complete a series of training challenges on the path to Mars. Minimum height 48 inches / 1.22 metres.
Land & Drive On Mars: Take the Commander or Pilot seat in a full-motion simulator and navigate the rough terrain of the Martian surface. Varying degrees of motion intensity mean everyone can take part. Minimum height 51 inches / 1.3 metres.
Walk On Mars: Step onto the Red Planet through a fully immersive virtual reality experience - the only place on Earth where you can explore Mars quite like this. Minimum height 48 inches / 1.22 metres.
Mission Control Exercises: Put your teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test with a series of Mission Control exercises.
Astronaut Briefing & Q&A Session: Hear directly from Space Flight Experts in an exclusive briefing and Q&A session.
Snacks & Drinks: Refreshments are included throughout your training experience.
ATX Gear: Take home your very own Mission Polo Shirt and ATX gear as a memento of your training day.
Please note that this ticket is on a request basis. Once booked, confirmation is required from Kennedy Space Center. If your selected date is not available, alternate dates will be provided.
Check in at the ATX Facility on the right-hand side of the general entry gate at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
This ticket is only valid for the date selected at the time of booking. The ATX experience operates on select days only - please check the calendar before booking.
Advance reservations are required. Your booking will be confirmed with the supplier before your reservation is sent via email.
Participants must be aged 10 or over. Those aged 10 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Some height and weight restrictions apply on certain simulators.
Shorts or trousers are recommended - no skirts. Athletic footwear is preferred.
Participants should be free of neck and back injuries. Expectant mothers and those with abnormal blood pressure, adverse heart conditions, or ear and sinus infections should not participate in certain activities.
Transport and parking are not included with this ticket.
