Are you scared yet? Because Halloween Horror Nights 2020 is creeping up!
Every Autumn at Universal Studios, HHN brings together stories and visions from the most notorious creators of horror, transforming Universal Studios into the World’s Premier Halloween Event.
THE WORLD'S PREMIER HALLOWEEN EVENT....
For seven weeks, fear takes over, and nightmares rule the darkness. As the sun sets on days filled with thrills, haunted houses chill the bravest souls, streets transform into sinister scare zones, and screams echo from live entertainment. From cinematic greats and current cult favourites, to Universal’s original creations, each year at Halloween Horror Nights a legend grows, and this experience expands beyond your wildest nightmares.
Are you ready for the most terrifying experience of your life? If Halloween Horror Nights 2019 was anything to go by, you can expect to:
-Quake with terror as you explore haunted houses that look and feel like the movies
-Scream as gruesome and grotesque figures lunge from the shadows in the scare zones
-Squeal with fear at the outrageous live entertainment
The most anticipated slice of the Halloween Horror Nights line-up is the haunted houses. There are usually ten houses in total inspired by some of the greatest horror films/series, plus a handful of original creations from Universal.
Each iconic house has unbelievable attention to detail, creating a sense of surrealism that you desperately want to escape. Finding your way out is key, from start to finish you’ll experience all kinds of unexpected twists, turns and terrifying goings-on. Whether it be through set design, music, lighting or terrifying scare actors, the intense journey puts you in a very real world a lot like the movies, and your nightmares!
If at Halloween, you enjoy wandering the streets and seeing all the ghouls, goblins and zombies out and about, you’ll love the scare zones at Halloween Horror Nights. Besides the extraordinary entertainment, anticipate an otherworldly atmosphere formed of neon lights, pyrotechnics and smoke machines. Like the haunted houses, the scare zones are a huge talking point of Halloween Horror Nights. There are usually five scare zones, each packed with terrifying creatures and demented fiends.
Ride in the dark
While the horror event takes over most of Universal Studios, Halloween Horror Nights isn’t just about the terrifying goings-on. Guests also have the unique opportunity to ride some of the parks most exciting attractions in the dark – which alone is worth the price of a ticket. Late-night riding at Universal Studios feels more like a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity than a buyable; yearly event.
This is your chance to escape to some of Universal Studios’ most exhilarating attractions where heart pounding takes on a different meaning – until the horror calls you back.
