If you’re planning to ride the Hogwarts™ Express#, it’s a good idea to start off at the park where you think you’ll spend the least time, as once you’ve taken the train journey between parks you’ll probably be staying in the second park until closing time.

Don’t forget – the train journeys are different depending which way you’re travelling, so next time you visit you can take the train the opposite way!

Family drinking at Honeydukes

To make the very most of your time here we recommend splitting your visit into two half days:

This should also give you the opportunity to travel between parks on the Hogwarts™ Express#!

  • Day 1: Get here early in the morning and head for the rides first. People tend to rush to explore the streets of Hogsmeade™ first, so this is the time when the ride queues should be shortest.
  • Day 2: Visit in the afternoon or evening, when it’s cooler to wander around and the lights give everything a magical atmosphere.
