From the high‑speed climbs and drops of Krakatau Aqua Coaster to the near‑vertical drop of Ko’okiri Body Plunge and the sweeping raft runs of Honu ika Moana, each attraction carries the energy of the volcano, channelling water, light and movement into something that's wild yet effortless.
The island moves with a tropical rhythm, with golden beaches, swaying palms and shimmering water wrapping every path. One moment you’re racing through the heart of the volcano, the next you’re drifting past waterfalls or unwinding at Waturi Beach - a final sweep of water and warmth binding the island's magnificence.

Universal Volcano Bay is built around a fictional Waturi island mythology, inspired by real‑world Polynesian and South Pacific cultures. Its central volcano, Krakatau, echoes the name of the real Krakatoa volcano in Indonesia, which famously erupted in 1883, but the park’s story and characters are entirely original to Universal.
Universal Volcano Bay has its own dedicated entrance and it connects easily to the wider Universal Orlando Resort. It is not accessed through Universal CityWalk Orlando:
Complimentary shuttle buses run continuously between Universal Volcano Bay and the Universal Orlando parking hub
All Universal hotels offer direct shuttle transport to Universal Volcano Bay
Walking access is available from Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal Aventura Hotel.
Rideshare services, such as Uber and Lyft, have designated drop‑off points at the dedicated Universal Volcano Bay entrance
Please note: Universal Epic Universe is located in a separate resort district and cannot be reached on foot from Universal Volcano Bay, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure or Universal CityWalk.
