With Spring in the air many of us will start to notice the daffodils sprouting out of the ground and the days getting warmer and longer. As we wave goodbye to winter and plan our summer wardrobes, the anticipation of Spring is contagious and no other place can promote excitement and wonder like Disney.
Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival is a celebration of this seasonal occasion taking place from March until May 20th. The event includes educational presentations, themed weekends, special displays and activities for the kids.
Anyone visiting Walt Disney World Resort should take the time to check out this event that takes place once a year, with beautiful floral displays and intricate topiaries modelled after familiar Disney characters. Epcot will also be providing a groovy soundtrack to the festival with music inspired from the 1960s and 1970s.
It’s got something for everyone and even if your fingers aren’t the greenest, you will most definitely marvel at the colourful displays and scenery unlike anything else.
