Universal Orlando Resort have revealed some never-before-released details about their new Hogwarts Express experience at Diagon Alley – the all-new Harry Potter themed land opening this summer!
The train will connect this new land in Universal Studios with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure.
Creating an actual train ride experience to connect two theme park lands is something that has never been done before.
What you can look forward to experiencing on the Hogwarts Express:
Pass through the brick wall at Kings Cross Station to arrive at Platform 9 and be transported from the Muggle world to the wizarding world.
Watch in awe as the Hogwarts Express pulls into the station amid billows of steam and its authentic whistle.
Live the same classic journey that Harry Potter did aboard this iconic locomotive. Gazing out of the cabin windows, a breathtaking journey will unfold as you encounter magical creatures, some of your favourite Harry Potter characters and even some Dementors.
See Hagrid zoom alongside the train on his flying motorbike, Buckbeak the Hippogriff swoop gracefully over the black lake, the Weasley twins on their brooms, the Knight Bus swerving through London traffic as well as other special moments and surprises!
The experience will be completely different depending on whether you’re travelling to Hogsmeade or London.
Everything about this train is totally authentic – from the paint and materials used to build it, even down to the whistle!
